Hilary Duff in talks with RCA?

 There is a rumor that Hilary Duff may be in talks with RCA records, vs staying independent as a musician as she’s previously stated in interviews.
Hilary admitted recently that she’s starting to work with a few producers, one of whom may be J.Y.Park. If Hilary is indeed in talks with RCA, who manage artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera, we’ll probably know soon. For now, this is just a rumor.
The rumor follows the announcement earlier this week of Hilary Duff’s upcoming new single, “Any Other Day”, which will be a part of the soundtrack for her movie What Goes Up. So far there is only a possibility that the single will be released on its own.

 Hilary Duff says today’s teen stars like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez have it harder than she did.
When asked by E!’s Daily 10 if she felt bad for the amount of paparazzi that teen stars have to deal with, the Duffster said, “Hmmm… no, because I have to deal with it everyday too. I mean I think that they’re talented, you know, and it probably is a little harder for them now, you know, because there is so much paparazzi and it wasn’t like that so much a few years ago.” ... Hilary Duff Plays Tortured Jersey Girl in New Movie

 Hilary Duff's character Greta is just plain dramatic.
How else do you describe a teen who kicks off a summer visit to her grandparents' with "I want to kill myself"? Still, there's a few things she plans to do first – including getting a tattoo.
The movie, Greta, is ultimately a teen romance with Duff, 21, starring as rebellious 17-year-old Greta, who finds love with a young ex-convict while she's spending the summer with her grandparents on the Jersey shore.
Ellen Burstyn and Michael Murphy costar as the lucky grams and gramps, and Evan Ross, 20 (and the son of Supreme singer Diana Ross), plays her love interest, Julie.

 Actress/singer follows up guest spot on 'Ghost Whisperer' with role on long-running NBC crime drama.
Hilary Duff just landed herself a role on "Law & Order: SVU," reports E! News. The role is the latest TV guest spot for Duff. She recently filmed a cameo for the Jennifer Love Hewitt drama "Ghost Whisperer." well,Hilary stars as Greta,a 17-year-old girl struggling with feelings of suicide.She goes to her grandparents for summer and makes it known that she wants to kill herself during the summer, and compiles a book of suicide methods.And she falls in love with her colleague, a cook at the restaurant they work.After they take their romance to the next level, Greta confronts the concern of her grandparents about her new boyfriend's criminal past.

Tonic is auctioning off a new iPod, autographed by Hilary Duff and loaded with her favorite playlist as part of the Tonic Celebrity Auction Series. Hilary’s iPod is up for auction on March 16, 2009 at 10am until March 26, 2009 at 10am and we are hoping you will help us spread the news to all her fans about this amazing event! One hundred percent of proceeds from the auctions go to the non-profit Music Rising that is replacing instruments lost in the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina.
