~Hilary Duff Film, Material Girls, Finds Distributor~

It looks like Material Girls is going to be released after all.
Last week, Lukas Haas said that the Hilary and Haylie Duff film Material Girls was not going to be released because it could not find a distributor. But according to boxofficemojo.com, the movie has found a distributor in MGM and will be released August 25. Haas, one of the stars of Material Girls, had said that he doubted the movie would ever be released.

lol.. don't mention it :p I'm reali glad too that the film has found a distributor or else it'll just be released in the DVD instead of in the theatres.. Hilary & Haylie had been doing this film for months so I think 'Material Girls' need to get a big hit & even maybe one of the top 10 movies.. :rolleyes:

the movie is now coming out on the 18th of august in america. it was pushed up a week i dont know why though. in Ireland we will probably have to wait another month or two before it comes out over here. i can't wait to see it cos i have been waiting for over a year

Hey ppl yea i heard about Material Girls since like september of 2005 i was like OMG! i couldn't wait till the movie they said it would come out in 2006 and i thought it was coming out in the february but it came out in august and when i finally saw the commercial for Material Girls i was like finally i thought it would never come out and i was thinking they had to be working on this movie since like january because she has blonde hair hilary, and she wasn't skinny in the movie yet. But i can't wait to see it!!! me and my friend wanna see it together because we were thinking of being Material Girls for halloween and her mom can do our hair since her mom is a hair stylist. What do u think?? would that be a good costume??? we were gonna wear bowa's and alot of jewlry like dangly earings, martegra beed necklaces and bracelets and her mom can also do out makeup crazy like pink lime green, yellow purple all those colors would go good together!!!:) so tell me what u think about our idea of being Material Girls for Halloween??!!! I'm so bummed! Our theater didn't get it! Although, we are just now getting a movie that came out August 11th, so there is still hope for us getting "Material Girls". I really hope we do! I've been waiting for this movie forever! Has anybody seen it on here?
