He's kind of old. I was thinking someone more Hilary's age. Because in "War Inc." I think it's weird that she is doing it with someone that is so much older than her and she plays the love interest in the story (even though her character probably will be much older then Hilary actually is).

Yeah they're all ''GIRLIE'' like Chad Murray in A Cinderella Story, if only there were proper actors in her the movies.:mad: I would love to see hil in a proper grown ups movie just to see what her talent allows her character to be.

@ Snakebite: I think Murray's a pretty good actor, despite the prejudices of him just being the 'good looking high school dude'... And it would be difficult to make Hilary fall in love with Tom Hanks in A Cinderella Story :D So I guess Murray's the perfect man for that role. I agree with the second part: I loved all of Hilary's more 'Disney' movies, but maybe it's time for her to get into more mature roles.

yeah, i know what you mean...
...but anyway i think that on second thought, there was no real challenge in Murray's character in A Cinderella Story. But ive seen him in other roles like CSI:Las Vegas and various movies, and he's the exact same person in all of the roles:confused: Maybe the directors wanted it like that but in CSI he was playing an ''accessory to murder'' and i really dont think that the character of A Cinderella Story, Murry portraid would fit the character of a muderer or accessory to one etc..but maybe it's just me.:D

But also when i think about it there's no point in mixing good actors with bad cause the bad will win and drag the reputoire of the good into the sewers and so on.

And on a bad note for Hilary: she's more or less the same person in her movies too, you know! the insecure intravert with a troubling childhood who wants a better life. Maybe that's who she is in real life. And why she wants to play that type of character all the time.
Some ppl put messages in the lyrics of song and im sure Hil does, so whats to say they cant put messages into movies? and it could be what she's doing, she's trying to tell her fans she has/had a troublesome life (and when you tell ppl your probs it is known to make a person feel better) but she's managed to make millions of dollars in sending the messages to touch her fans who share the same experiences.

And all i want is to see her ''tallent'' now. Like i want to see if she can really ''ACT'' as in change her character like Johnny Depp or something because shes the same person in every movie, and i dont know about anybody else but if she doesnt change roles into more ''mature roles'' her fans will be maturing and her career won't. She's in danger of losing her fans because, if her fans are reaching the ages of 18, 19+ they're not going to want to got to see her in another ''Cinderella Story'' type movie because they're too old.

I hope thats nbot to deep for ppl to understant cause i know some of the ppl on HDT are still 12-15 yo but i thin you, Chippen will know what i trying to say.:wav:

I totally understand you, Snakebite. I'd like to see if Hilary can handle other characters too, and I think War Inc. will be the first real 'test' for her. But I also like Hilary being the confused teenage girl from Lizzie McGuire, A Cinderella Story and The Perfect Man. The thing is she can't be playing teenage roles forever, because she'll become 20 herself this year. I think we'll see a 'new Hilary' this year: other style of music on her new album, other roles in her movie(s). I'm not sure if I'll like the new Hil as much as the old one, but let's give it a try :)

Btw: I'd like her to do a new movie with Frankie Muniz. I think the chemistry between the two in Agent Cody Banks is great, and I think Muniz's a pretty good actor too. But maybe it's time for him too to play more grown-up roles.
