View Full Version : "Lizzie McGuire" on Disney Channel?

Does anybody know if "Lizzie McGuire" is still on in the afternoons on Disney Channel? Now I know they aren't playing any new episodes anymore, but I noticed that this week, they aren't playing reruns. So either they are doing something special in the afternoon and next week they are going back to their normal schedule or they took it off the air for good. Does anybody know? I remember reading an article a while ago that Disney Channel would stop playing the show and that "Nick @ Nite" would pick it up, which makes no sense. So I was just wondering if anybody knew when it would be back on again.

Edit: Just to let you guys know, Disney Channel did stop playing this show for good (it's not showing reruns anymore). But the good news is, is that the WGN channel picked it up! I think it'll play the same days as it did on the Disney Channel and at the sametime. It'll start on Monday with the very first episode. I looked on Yahoo! TV and they said it was only playing until Thursday, so maybe their scdedule is different for the weekend and it'll just play Monday-Thursday at 3:30 mountian time. I'm not sure if this is just for next week or if it is for the whole time. I sure hope it is! I was so happy to find this out!!!!

I use AOL search and I can set it up to search any location or area and time zone for the Lizzie MaGuire show TV listings. Just ask for help if you need it.

Well, did you not read my post above? It is playing on WGN now starting tomorrow with the very first episode. They won't play any new episodes, just the reruns like DC did. It'll be on at the sametime as DC played it, too.:04:

so they aren't going to show on nick at nite, but on the WGN channel? meaning if you don't have dish, you don't get to watch it?

Nope, they aren't showing it on Nick @ Nite. It isn't that type of TV show. Anyways, I'm guessing if you don't have Dish you don't get to watch it. I think the second season should be coming out on DVD soon. It's weird that they haven't done that, yet. The first season is already out on DVD.

Oh, has anybody been watching the episodes on WGN? If so, has anybody noticed that they have taken some of the songs out of the episodes? Why is that???? I'd like to know!!!!
